Emma Cook: Resin Sphere Turning

This is the perfect opportunity here at The Woodturning School to have an enriching lesson with Emma Cook, The Tiny Turner, where she will professionally guide you through casting and turning resin spheres. This exciting course is designed for those with a fair amount of turning experience, given the interesting technical nature of the tool work.

You will have an exhilarating day packed with valuable information and innovative techniques! You’ll dive into the fascinating world of processing and casting resin blanks, creating your own sphere blank to take home by day’s end. Emma will skillfully demonstrate how to turn a sphere between centres before handing over to you the thrilling task of trying it out for yourself on a timber blank.

After honing your skills on the timber blank, you’ll switch over to one of Emma’s beautifully pre-cast resin blanks and transform it from start to finish into a stunning sphere you’re sure to be proud of.

After you have practised on the timber blank, you will swap over to one of Emma’s pre-cast resin blanks for you to turn from start to finish into a glorious sphere of your own.
