Intermediate & Advanced Woodturning Courses

Wide Platttter & Airbrushing

Join Martin and other lovers of colouring wood on this structured and relaxed one-day platter turning and introduction to airbrushing course.

You can unleash your creativity in this exciting woodturning course at the workshop by crafting a stunning wide-rim platter measuring about 12″ (300mm). Martin will be there to guide and inspire you, demonstrating top-notch techniques for turning and finishing the platter to a perfect standard for airbrushing.

After a brief lunch break at 12:30pm, we’ll reconvene in the workshop to master airbrushing techniques and immerse ourselves in the captivating world of airbrushing. We’ll expertly use various tapes, masks, and the outstanding Hampshire Sheen Vinyl Stencils.

You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment with the remarkable water-based Intrinsic Colour and Carnival Colour Collections.

Please Note: Some experience of woodturning would be helpful for this course, but not absolutely necessary. Martin will be able to help out with the turning.
